Pro Hac Vice
The term pro hac vice (derived from the Latin “for this turn”) is a legal concept which allows a lawyer not normally admitted to practice in a specific jurisdiction (i.e. an out-of-state lawyer,etc.) to practice before the court for a specific case or client. In these particular instances, Mr. Gelety motioned to participate outside his normal jurisdiction as part of his commitment to personally appear in court on behalf of his clients.
